Who we are.
Micker Brook Ltd, trading as Doctor Business ("we", "us"), is a company registered in England and Wales (company number TBA). Our registered office is TBA. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. ICO registration: TBA.
What we collect.
- Email address — when you subscribe to Notes or buy a product
- Name and billing address — when you buy a product, for invoice and tax compliance
- Payment data — handled by our payment processor (TBA) and not stored by us beyond the transaction reference
- Communication records — emails you send to us, and our replies
- Anonymised analytics — aggregate information about how the website is used
What we do with it.
We use your data to deliver the products you've bought, communicate with you about your purchases and (if you've subscribed) the Friday Note, comply with our legal and tax obligations, and improve our service. We don't sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. We don't use your data for advertising profiling. We don't share it across brands in the Micker Brook group without your specific consent.
Your rights.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, receive a portable copy of, or withdraw consent for our processing of your data. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@doctorbusiness.co.uk.
How long we keep data.
We keep customer records for seven years to comply with HMRC requirements on retention of accounting records. Notes subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe, after which it is deleted within 30 days. Anonymised analytics is kept for a maximum of 26 months.
